CSC/Class Sizes
Welcome to our Collaborative School Committee (CSC)
The CSC is a leadership team of parents, teachers, and community members who work together to guide our school’s success. We ensure our school has a clear plan for student learning while following all state and federal laws.
Strategic Planning & Oversight
- The School Roadmap: We help shape the Unified Improvement Plan (UIP). This is our school’s master plan for student achievement and program design.
- Accountability: We use the School Performance Framework to track student growth. These ratings are reported to the state and help determine leadership and teacher compensation.
- Legal Standards: We ensure the school follows Colorado Department of Education (CDE) regulations, district agreements, and safety mandates.
Budget & Staffing Guidance
- Resource Planning: We provide recommendations on the school budget to ensure funds are spent on the most important student needs.
- Staffing Allocations: We give guidance on how to best assign staff members to support our academic goals.
- Enrollment Updates: We consult on adjustments to the school plan if student enrollment numbers change during the year.
Our Impact
By reviewing data on attendance, safety, and test scores, the CSC ensures that our school’s mission, budget, and programs all work together. Our goal is to provide a high-quality, safe, and successful learning environment for every student.
By working together, we ensure that our school follows all state and federal laws while staying true to our mission: helping every student achieve their full potential.

- Marrama Elementary Projections for the 26-27 School Year:
- 471→ Total
- 60→ Kinder
- 61→ 1st
- 74→ 2nd
- 90→ 3rd
- 97→ 4th
- 89→5th
- There will be 37 less students in primary for the 26-27 school year. Given these projections and budgetary constraints, we need to have a 2nd/3rd split classroom. This will provide an opportunity for the high performing students in 2nd grade to be challenged and provided with differentiated instruction. We are going to have 1 ELA-S, 1 ELA-E, and a 2nd/3rd split classroom. An ELA-E teacher will support the 2nd/3rd split classroom. We will need to RIB a 2nd grade position. Due to high projections in 3rd-5th grade, we will need to have four 4th grade teachers per grade level. A SPED position may be needed as a result of an increase of students with IEPs. We will still have an ELA-S per grade level. All of the open positions will be posted to meet our school’s needs for the 26-27 school year.
- Anticipated # of Classroom Teachers per Grade Level for the 26-27 School Year
- ECE (2 Teachers)
- Kinder (2 Teachers)
- 1st (3 Teachers)

- 2nd/3rd Split (1 Teacher)

All of the CSC members have provided consensus to the items and action steps described above as of Friday, January 16th, 2026 at 9 am.
