My name is Rachel Severe and this is my second year at Marrama and my 17th year to teach elementary music. Last year was fun, and I can’t wait to see all of our returning students and our new Marrama Mustangs. Learning and making music in the classroom with eachother was such a joy! The Winter Performance and the Talent Show was also a great hit, and I’m excited to see what we do with it this year.
A bit about myself: My husband John and I have been married for 15 years and have two children – Weston (3) and Blair (1). We also have a 14 year old schnauzer, Heidi. We love to travel, cook, hike, and ski in our free time. Our favorite trips usually include a beach and snorkeling adventures. I am originally from Texas, and my husband and I moved to Denver in 2016. We moved out to Summit County for five years, but came back to Denver the summer of 2023.
