Hello! My name is Mrs. De Leon, and I grew up in Harlingen, Texas. This will be my first year as a 4th grade teacher at Marrama Elementary, where I bring 6 years of teaching experience along with a Bachelor’s Degree in Elementary Education and a Master’s Degree in Educational Technology. My teaching philosophy centers on building a safe, welcoming classroom where students feel comfortable taking risks and are genuinely excited to come to school each day. One of my favorite parts of teaching is watching students grow throughout the year, whether it’s a small breakthrough or a big leap forward. Outside the classroom, I love reading a good book, visiting the zoo, and working on Rolife miniature build kits. I can’t wait to make this a wonderful year for our students!
