Hello there! My name is Meggan Burke, and I am excited to be a fifth grade teacher at Marrama for the 2024-2025 school year! This year is my seventeenth year in elementary education; I have taught every grade from kindergarten to sixth grade. Although I taught first grade my first year here at Marrama, I CAN’T WAIT to dig into my second year in fifth grade! I love help my students grow and develop a love of learning!
When I’m not teaching, I love to spend time exploring with my husband, kindergarten daughter, and newborn daughter. We love to visit new places, try new food, and make new memories as a family. This is the third state we have lived and explored in, we lived in Virginia and Texas before! We also have a fur-baby named Cleo; she is a sweet black cat.
