My name is Mrs. Chavarria, and I am looking forward to our school year ahead! This is my second year teaching 4th grade at Marrama. Go Mustangs!
I previously taught 3rd grade in Jefferson County, after earning my Master’s in Teaching Elementary Education in 2022 from MSU Denver. Before that, I worked as a Paraprofessional, as well as a Director for before and after school care programs for several years. My passion and my hope for all my students is not only that they each progress academically, but also, that they each strive to be the best version of themselves everyday, and that they embrace their own resilience along the way.
My husband and I live out in Arvada with our cat, Leo. We are expecting our first baby, a little girl, this October! I am planning to take maternity leave beginning in early October, and I expect to return in December, before our Winter Break begins.
