Welcome back! I am so excited for the 2024-2025 school year. My name is Jenn Watts and I am the proud Assistant Principal of Marrama Elementary. I am starting my 20th year in education…time flies! I spent the first 10 years of my teaching career as a 4th and 5th grade teacher, the next 3 years as an instructional coach, and I am now beginning my 7th year as an assistant principal. . I consider Marrama my “home” (as I have spent 17 years at this wonderful school) and can’t wait for this year.
I am the very lucky mom to two boys, ages 18 (freshman at CU-Boulder) and 15 (sophomore in HS), and I have been married for 19 years to my husband, Nick. We also have two rescue dogs, Tigger and Chance. We are super busy being soccer and baseball parents on the weekends but in our spare time, we love to travel, mountain bike, paddle board, and hang out with friends and family.
I look forward to a successful school year with a passionate, hard working staff along with an inspiring and committed group of students and families.
