I have been an educator for 38 years. In Colorado for 30 years. My teaching experience has been at a secondary level teaching health education and science as a middle and high school level. I have three years of experience as a counselor and student advisor. I taught ECE for one year at Valverde Elementary, I have 22 years of experience as a school leader at Marrama Elementary. I am originally from Puerto Rico where I completed my undergraduate degree at the University of Puerto Rico. My Post graduate degrees were completed at the University of Alaska and Colorado University. I have a robust experience in leadership and best educational practices from ECE through High School. I am an avid traveler where I have been in more than 25 countries. My passion is to facilitate the best educational opportunities for all children and to serve our school community.
