It has been a wonderful and busy time in kindergarten! The students are making great progress in literacy, mastering letter sounds and reading nonsense words. Classes are even excelling at recognizing the entire alphabet, including in Spanish! In math, they are confidently counting to 100 and comparing numbers. We have also been focused on writing, and the students are learning to use the word “prefer” to share their ideas. In social studies, we’re discussing what it means to be successful by trying our best and being kind to others. We are so proud of their hard work and can’t wait to share more of their journey with you!

In Kindergarten, we are having so much fun learning our ABC’s and the numbers 1–10! 🎉
Every day, students practice letter names and sounds through songs, games, and hands-on activities. We love singing the alphabet together and finding words that start with each letter.
In math, we are counting, clapping, and even jumping to practice numbers up to 10. The children enjoy using objects, like blocks and toys, to show how numbers grow bigger.
It’s exciting to see our kindergarteners becoming confident learners in both English and Spanish while celebrating each new step!
