β There will be 37 less students in primary for the 26-27 school year. Given these projections and
budgetary constraints, we need to have a 2nd/3rd split classroom. This will provide an opportunity for
the high performing students in 2nd grade to be challenged and provided with differentiated instruction.
We are going to have 1 ELA-S, 1 ELA-E, and a 2nd/3rd split classroom. An ELA-E teacher will support
the 2nd/3rd split classroom. We will need to RIB a 2nd grade position. Due to high projections in
3rd-5th grade, we will need to have four 4th grade teachers per grade level. A SPED position may be
needed as a result of an increase of students with IEPs. We will still have an ELA-S per grade level. All
of the open positions will be posted to meet our schoolβs needs for the 26-27 school year.
