I live with my husband, of 28 years, Jeff. I have two children, Porter 24, who works with his father and Brandi 20, who is receiving her teaching degree from the University of Northern Colorado. I grew up on a farm east of Denver and still live in the same community.
I love working at Marrama and enjoy all the different families I get to meet.
Hi! My name is Alyssa Sherman and this will be my fourth year teaching at Marrama Elementary, and my tenth year working in DPS! I’ve known I’ve wanted to be a teacher since Kindergarten and here I am teaching it! I got my Bachelor’s degree from the University of Northern Colorado and I am a Colorado native, and wouldn’t live any other place! In my free time, I like to hang out with my dog Lucy, go hiking or do anything outdoors, teach ice skating, read, and hang out with friends and family! This past summer, I bought my first home and have been busy renovating it. I’m so excited to be working with the best team in the school- Kindergarten and the entire staff at Marrama ! Go Mustangs!
