My name is Stephanie Wilson and this is my 27th year at Marrama and 29th year in DPS.
I taught first grade, ECE and Kindergarten. My love is my kinder kids. I enjoy teaching reading and writing and experiencing all the new adventures kindergarten has to offer.
I live with my husband, of 28 years, Jeff. I have two children, Porter 24, who works with his father and Brandi 20, who is receiving her teaching degree from the University of Northern Colorado. I grew up on a farm east of Denver and still live in the same community.
I love working at Marrama and enjoy all the different families I get to meet.
Hi! My name is Alyssa Sherman and this will be my 6th year teaching at Marrama Elementary, and my 12th year working in DPS! I’ve known I’ve wanted to be a teacher since Kindergarten and here I am teaching it! I got my Bachelor’s degree from the University of Northern Colorado and I am a Colorado native, and wouldn’t live any other place! In my free time, I like to hang out with my fiance’ Chris and our dogs Lucy and Starla. We like to taking drives in the mountains to take pictures, hiking, and camping. This summer, I climbed my second 14er- Mt. Sherman before changing my name when I get married in October! A passion of mine is to teach ice skating sharing something I love with others. I love to read, and hang out with friends and family! I’m so excited to be working with the best team in the school- Kindergarten! Go Mustangs!
My name is Norma Torres. I have been working as a teacher at Marrama during 13 years. I earned my professional degree in Dentistry and my master degree in Health Services Administration in Colombia, South America. I continued my education here in the USA where I got my master degree in Special Education. In my free time , I spend my time with my family doing activities in all the different seasons of the year.
