Dac and me on playground - STEPHANIE WILSON

Marrama is definitely my home away from home. I am beginning my 34th year at Marrama and my 36th year in the district.

Kindergarteners keep me excited about teaching and coming to work everyday. We always have a new adventure and challenge to keep us busy. I love working with five and six year old’s. Teaching kindergarten is a love of mine.

I am a grandma of a almost 2 year old and soon will have my second grandchild. I love being a grandma and spend as much time as I possibly can with my grandson.

The 2021-2022 year will be my 9th year teaching Kindergarten at Marrama, and my 16th year working in DPS! I am a Colorado Native and I wouldn’t want to live anywhere else- except maybe the beach :-) I spend a lot of time with my husband Chris, and our two dogs Lucy and Starla as well as friends and family. Over this last summer, I was so happy to get to travel a little again, spend lots of time reading, hanging with my dogs and doing projects around my house.

This coming school year, I am so excited to embrace learning and growing with my students and their families in person again. I am also excited to see the bright, smiling faces of students past who are coming back to Marrama after being gone for remote learning. We have a lot of hard work to do, but we are better off learning and growing TOGETHER!
