1st Grade

 Alex Molleck

Hello! My name is Alex Molleck. I am excited to be in first grade at Marrama! I graduated from Metropolitan State University of Denver where I received my bachelor’s degree in English and Elementary Education. Just last year I got my master’s degree in Culturally and Linguistic Diverse Education. This is my 6th year teaching and I am honored that I get to continue this journey at Marrama. I am a lifelong learner and have always enjoyed school. I hope to cultivate that same passion and excitement for learning in my students, and I think there is no better place to start than in the 1st grade!

I am a Colorado native. I enjoy spending time with my loved ones. I love anything that makes me laugh whether it comes in the form of a movie, TV show, book, or just getting to know someone new.

Bea Araujo

Hi! My name is Ms. Araujo and this will be my first year teaching at Marrama! I taught for seven years in San Francisco and I have taught 3rd, 4th, and 6th grade. I earned my Bachelor’s Degree in Creative Writing from San Francisco State and my Master’s Degree in Urban Education and Social Justice from the University of San Francisco.

I grew up in Los Angeles and moved to San Francisco for college–I loved it so much that I ended up staying in San Francisco for eleven years! I moved to Denver this past September and I can’t wait to explore all that Colorado has to offer.

In my spare time, I love reading, indoor gardening, listening to podcasts, and hanging out with my boyfriend, Rob, and our dog, Lyra. I love teaching and I am so excited for my students to learn and have fun in 1st Grade!
