Paula Garrison – Speech Therapist
I’m Paula Garrison. I am the Speech-Language Pathologist. This is my fourth year at Marrama but 28th year as a school-based SLP. I enjoy reading and will start a class in American Sign Language this Fall. I’m looking forward to this year.
Gladys Swazo -ESL interventionist
My name is Gladys Swazo and I am an ESL interventionist working with English Language Learners. I have been at Marrama for 4 years and have truly enjoyed being a part of a great team and great leadership. Working with students is a passion I have because I want my students to have the opportunity to succeed and to make a difference in their lives. As an educator I am willing to work hard and become a dedicated teacher for my students, parents, and administration. I like to read, going on walks, visiting family and friends, and relaxing with a good movie.
Victoria Naves – Social Worker

Hello! My name is Harlett and I am the school nurse. I was born and raised in the Philippines. I earned my Bachelor of Science in Nursing in the Philippines. Since I love being around children, I started my career in Pediatric Nursing in the Philippines. I moved to the US in 2012. I am grateful to be a part of Marrama Elementary. Such an amazing team!
I believe that the best way to promote health is through the Holistic Approach. I am looking forward to support our staff, students and their families.
Mary Katherine Nolan – ELL Interventionists
Hi! My name is Ms. Nolan & it is my second year at Marrama! I am beyond excited to work with K-1 kids this year. My favorite hobby is reading! I read seven books this summer and 22 in all for 202! Go Mustangs!
Janet Mathews – (SAL) Site Assessment Leader
I’m glad to be back on team Marrama! I was apart of the Marrama team for 27 years.
I retired in 2020. I was asked to come back and work in the capacity of the Site Assessment Leader. I had assisted in this role as SAL for several years when I was the assistant principal. Having the opportunity to serve and support students, and staff with assessments this school years will be a honor.
I am a 20 year resident of the Greenvalley Ranch Community. I love that I can work and serve the students and families in the community where I reside. I have 10 grandchildren. 8 of the 10 grandchildren has and will attend Marrama. 5 of those grandchildren are in college. I believe that the Mighty Marrama Mustangs are a Mile Above the Rest!
