I am excited to start off another year in art with Marrama Elementary students. If you have any questions or concerns please do not hesitate to stop by the art room or call me at school. I look forward to another exciting, creative school year with Marrama students!
Exciting things are happening in the Music Room!
The kindergarten classes are working on their songs for continuation and exploring the concepts of tempo (speed), dynamics (volume), rhythm, and melody.
The first graders are beginning to play the xylophone and other percussion instruments, and are exploring music through movement and games.
The 3rd graders are learning music for their Winter Concert on Thursday, December 17th @ 7pm. There is nothing better than performing for a packed house, so come out and show support for the students!
The 3rd, 4th, and 5th graders are working on a year long project which has them creating their own language! In the Spring they will be using their language, movements they have created, and percussion instruments in a performance for their peers and parents.
The band, violin class, and choir are all working really hard to put together Spring performances.
Parents! If you are musically inclined and would like to share your talent, or love for music, please contact me so we can set up a time for you to come and share with one of the classes.
