Cassandra Lewan
Hell! My name is Cassandra Lewan and I am excited to be a new member on the 2nd Grade team at Marrama. Even though it is my first year at Marrama it is my fifth year teaching. I have taught 3rd grade, 1st grade, and preschool in my previous experiences. I grew up with an aunt and my grandma both being educators. At a young age I often helped them get their classrooms ready, which ultimately began my interest in education. In third grade I had an amazing teacher that made learning fun and engaging. At that point I knew I wanted to be an educator in elementary. I graduated with my bachelors from University of Wisconsin Stout. I was born and raised in the small country town of Thorp, Wi. Go Pack! My parents and my two brothers all still live in Wisconsin and I love to get back at least once a year. I have lived in Colorado for three years now and love the mountains. For fun I like to go hiking with my dog, floating, movies, and going to visit my fiance’s family in Glenwood Springs. This year I am excited to become part of the Marrama community. I can’t wait to get to know the faculty, staff, students, and parents!
