I have been a part of the Marrama Mustang Herd for 25 years. During that time I have worked in many capacities. I taught 5th grade, 1st grade, 2nd grade and Art. I also have served as an Instructional Coach, Literacy Facilitator, Administrative Assistant and presently as the Assistant Principal. I live in Green Valley. This is my community that I love! I love the students and families at Marrama because they represent the community in which I’m apart of. I want us to be the best of the best because truly here at Marrama we are a Mile Above the Rest!

Jen Watts – Assistant Principal

Jenn - Jennifer Watts

Welcome! My name is Jenn Watts and I am so excited to be part of the Marrama family (again)! For 10 years, I was part of this wonderful community as a 4th and 5th grade teacher. I then spent 3 years as an instructional coach in a different district.

As I gained experience, I found my passion leading me into an administrative direction. While I was pursuing my administrative license, the opportunity to return to Marrama as an assistant principal presented itself. I am thrilled to be able to return to the community where my journey began, and my heart has always been.

I have two kids, Luke (12) and Jake (9), and while they keep my husband and I very busy, I love to run and mountain bike in my spare time. This summer was very full of soccer tournaments, a relaxing trip back home to Hawaii, and lots of time exploring Colorado.

I look forward to a successful school year with a great staff, and inspiring group of students.
